SES received special emergency rescue vehicles of medium type SARM-C (VIDEO)

Within the framework of the State Program for Improving Road Safety in Ukraine for the period up to 2020,  the State Emergency Service of Ukraine received 17 units of special emergency rescue vehicles of the medium type SARM-C from the State Agency for Infrastructure Projects of Ukraine.
 
Cars based on the Volkswagen Crafter 35 all-wheel drive minibus are equipped with emergency rescue equipment, which will significantly increase the efficiency and effectiveness of rescuers during the aftermath of road accidents.

 

Thus, each car is equipped with an electric winch, rescue platform, signal and loudspeaker installation, radios, mobile lighting installation, stretcher, fire extinguisher, cutter, spreader, jacks, supports, racks, combined hydraulic cordless tool, electric puncher, block perforator, block perforator, shaper, for breaking glass, pneumatic airbags, breathing apparatus, axes, ladders, petrol cutters, power plants, etc.

It will be recalled that in 2019, 71 units of equipment were purchased and transferred to the SES within the framework of this program. In particular: special light rescue vehicles SARM-L (chassis FORD RANGER) - 51 units and specialized vehicles of the road safety service (chassis RENAULT DUSTER) - 20 units.
