A project within the framework of the Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 is being implemented in Odesa Region

Within the framework of the Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020, the Main Department of the SES of Ukraine in Odesa Oblast together with the Delta Emergency Inspectorate in Tulcea County, Romania is implementing a project entitled "JERAD - Joint Emergency Response Around the Danube" . The registration number of the project in this Program is 2SOFT / 4.2 / 70. Implementation of the project activities is planned for 2020-2021 years.
The aim of the project is to increase the level of public safety by improving the professional capacity of emergency services to respond to possible emergencies. The total amount of the project proposal for partners of both countries, funded by the European Union, is more than 500 thousand euros, in particular for the needs of the Main Department of the SES of Ukraine in Odesa oblast is provided 140 thousand euros.This project envisages joint trainings and exercises with Romanian partners, purchase of special vehicles and rescue equipment, mutual exchange of information. In accordance with the terms of the Program, the project will be implemented on the border territory of Ukraine-Romania. On the part of the Ukrainian partner, the Izmail district of Odesa oblast will be a platform for meetings and dialogue.
