On January 21-24, a delegation of the SES of Ukraine headed by the Deputy Head of the Service Mykola Ilchenko was on a working visit to the Republic of Poland. The main purpose of the visit was to study the experience and organization of the educational system and system of training of employees in the field of civil protection, fire protection and the Polish legal and regulatory framework in this field.
Within four days, the SES specialists got acquainted with the activities of the specialized higher education institutions of the Republic of Poland, in particular, with the organization of the educational process at the Fire Service Academy, in the School of Warrant Officers of the State Fire Service in Poznan, in the Training Center of the Voivodship Department of the State Fire Service in Pionki and visited the Firefighting Research Center.
A working visit ended with a meeting with the Chief Commandant of the State Fire Service of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Bartkowiak, during which Mykola Ilchenko noted that Ukrainian specialists are interested in the possibility of implementation of certain organizational and practical aspects of Polish educational and scientific activities in the relevant field of the SES as part of the reform. The parties also discussed ways of organization of further cooperation in the area of exchange of experience in the field of education and training of employees.
