As a part of the International Technical Assistance Project “Enhancing Ukraine Civil Protection Capability II”, the regular emergency management training has started on October 20, 2019.
The training is being organized at the Academy for Crisis Management, Emergency Planning and Civil Protection of the Federal Office of Population and Disaster Assistance of the Federal Republic of Germany (BBK) in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler (Germany) during the period of October, 20–26. 16 representatives of the SESU are participating in this training. They have passed a series of crisis management trainings at the Institute of Public Administration in the field of civil protection with the specialists from other agencies who have been engaged in emergency management.
The training goal is to work out some regulations of the International Standard ISO 22398 on ensuring the safety of population from natural and man-made emergencies, to study the system of training of relevant specialists and to practice the actions in modelling the incidents of different nature.
