Colleague from the United States of America visited metropolitan rescuers

On July 25, in the framework of a working visit to the United States Embassy in Ukraine, Fire Safety Inspector of Washington City Craig Milton and the US Embassy Safety Coordinator visited the 6th State Fire and Rescue Station of Kyiv City. This Station was not chosen by chance, but because it is the closest to the embassy.
The guests were met by Igor Shariy, the Deputy Head of the Main Department of the SES of Ukraine in Kyiv, and the leadership of the Shevchenkivskyi District Administration.
During the meeting, metropolitan rescuers familiarized guests with the point of contact of the station, demonstrated how the link between subdivisions is beinb established and how the interaction with other services is taking place. Also, the tour arond fire and rescue station was held for guests, they were demonstrated rescue equipment, facilities and machinery, which is located in the depot and used in work. At the end, the guests were shown the living conditions in the station, where the rescuers rest and taking meal, and they were familiarized with the daily schedule of firefighters.
The meeting ended with a friendly handshake and discussion of further cooperation.
