A donation ceremony of new equipment for the rescuers of the UNHCR representatives took place in Donetsk region (VIDEO)

The United Nations Refugee Agency continues to provide technical assistance - best international practices and technical equipment - to enhance the effectiveness of the Rescue Service response in the Donetsk region.
 
Recently, on the basis of the Emergency and Rescue Special-Purpose Detachment of the Main Department of the SES of Ukraine in the Donetsk region (Mariupol), a solemn donation ceremony for donors to the rescuers from the representatives of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees took place. The ceremony was attended the honorable guests, the leadership of the Main Department and the media.
Rescuers can now use modern Bosch angle grinders, a tool kit for YATO electricians, a Firman mini power plant, a Bosch hammer and a Bosch cordless screwdriver, as well as planes, electric staplers, chisels, hammers and saws.
In addition, rescuers have got reliable and up-to-date equipment, which will significantly increase the level of execution of assigned tasks. In particular, topographers received insurance devices, self-insurance, devices for lifting on the support rope, block-clamps, jumper, ropes and URBAN systems.
 
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees constantly contributes to the updating of the material and technical base of the Rescue Service. They plan to continue to continue their cooperation with the Main Department. After all, thanks to the help the inhabitants of the region can count on timely and qualitative help if necessary.
